Important information regarding COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing our best to ensure safety and welfare of our clients and staff. As we are currently in Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan, we continue to provide services through Telehealth whenever possible. For in-person services, we observe the following COVID-19 protocols:
Informed consent

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are obligated to provide contact information of any of our clients to appropriate health authorities for the purpose of COVID-19 contact tracing in the case of COVID-19 infection.

Should such a situation arise, we would only report the minimum information necessary for contact tracing.
COVID-19 measures in the office

Chairs and tables will be cleaned with disinfectant after each session.

Any pens used in the office will be wiped with disinfectant after use.

A plexiglass barrier has been installed in the assessment rooms.

No handshaking or physical touch.
Client rules and guidelines

We offer Telehealth appointments whenever possible and when they do not affect the integrity of the assessments.

Clients will only keep in-person appointments if they are symptom-free.

Clients are recommended to put on a mask and wash their hands or use hand sanitizer when they enter the office.

Clients will adhere to the safe distancing precautions set up in the waiting room and assessment rooms.

Clients are recommended to wear a mask in all areas of the office.

If clients have had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 within the previous 14 days, they will not attend in person and will inform our office immediately.
If you or/and your family tested positive for COVID-19

If you are tested positive for COVID-19, you will need to reschedule your appointment. You will need to be symptom free for 14 days and then you can attend your in-person appointment.

If clients have had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 within the previous 14 days, they will not attend in person and will inform our office immediately.
